Communities Rally Behind Their Teams

The City of Moss Point is cheering on their Tigers. Thursday night more than a hundred Moss Point residents gathered together to give the Moss Point High School football team a happy send-off.

Tomorrow the team will head to Jackson for the school's sixth 5-A State Championship game. Coach Jerry Alexander says their hard work and dedication is what brought them to this point, and the support of the community helps to make it all possible.

The Saint John Eagles are also heading to Jackson for the 2-A State championship game. Thursday afternoon students and faculty came together in the school's gym to pep up their team. This is the first time the Eagles have made it to the championship game.
