High Court Rules Against Coast Attorney

For the second time, the state Supreme Court has ruled against Gulfport attorney Wayne Woodall. Woodall must stand trial for allegedly obtaining a controlled substance with a forged prescription.

The five count indictment was thrown out because Woodall's right to a speedy trial had been violated. But today the supreme court ruled that it was a mistake to dismiss the case based on the speedy trial argument.

Woodall's attorney told WLOX News he's ready to defend his client.
