Chocolate Turtle Cake

  • 2 - 10" round chocolate cakes
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 quart heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1 bottle chocolate syrup
  • 1 bottle caramel syrup

Using a food processor or mixer, whip 1 cup of powdered sugar and 1 quart of whipping cream until whipped cream folds and holds form.  Take one layer of cake and spread 1/3 of the whipped cream evenly over the cake.  Evenly spread 1 cup of the pecans on top of the whipped cream.  Sparingly drizzle the chocolate and caramel syrups over the pecans.

Add the next layer of cake.  Spread 1/3 whipped cream evenly over the cake.  Evenly spread 1 cup of the pecans on top of the whipped cream.  Sparingly drizzle the chocolate and caramel syrups over the pecans.

Use remaining 1/3 of whipped cream to decorate. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
