St. Martin Triple Murder Suspects Head To Court Monday

The two Biloxi men charged with capital murder are scheduled to make their intial court appearance in Jackson County Monday.  Ngan Tran, 27, and Thong Le, 19 are each charged with three counts of capital murder in connection with the deaths of a St. Martin woman and her two daughters.

Minh Hieu Thi Huynh, 45, Thuy Hang Huynh Nguyen, 15 and Thanh Truc Huynh Nguyen, 11 were found dead in their home on Big Ridge Road Friday morning by Hungh Nguyen.  The husband and father found his family in the early morning hours when he returned home from work.  All three victims died from blows to the head, according to Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd.

Investigators say robbery appears to be the motive for the killings.  They say about $1,000 was taken from the victims home.  Investigators recoverd some of that money at the one of the suspects homes.  Sheriff Byrd told WLOX News, "This person was friend of the family. That's why it was no home invasion, why there was no signs of forced entry. We feel like they let him in, because they knew him. and they believe the victims knew their attackers because there was no sign of of a break in."

Saturday, neighbors said the arrests brought comfort to those living on the usually quiet Big Ridge Road.

The two suspects are being held without bond at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center
