CAUSE OF DEATH HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED

At Least Three Killed In St. Martin

Jackson County deputies are investigating what they believe to be a triple murder in St. Martin.

Deputies were called to a home on Big Ridge Road at about 3am. WLOX reporter Ken Flannagan says at least three members of a Vietnamese family are dead.  Officers have not released details concerning the cause of death or a motive.

    Roads near Highway 90 and Highway 63 in Pascagoula opened this morning. Police removed barricades at 3:15 a.m. after experts determined a chemical leak no longer posed a threat. Emergency teams determined an empty rail car was the source of that leak. They tell WLOX News Now they contacted Chevron officials to make the necessary repairs.
