Moss Point Alderman Faces 13 Felony Charges; Pleads Not Guilty

Al Bodden pleaded "not guilty" Tuesday morning to more than a dozen federal charges.

The Moss Point Alderman was arrested at his home Monday afternoon by FBI agents on a 13 count federal indictment that includes bank fraud.

Bodden is charged with six counts of fraud, six counts of identity theft and one count of obstruction of justice. All are felonies. The FBI says the indictment also includes tampering with a witness.

Bodden was released on a $25,000 bond. He spent Monday night in the Harrison County Jail.

He was given a court appointed attorney and a trial date of November 6 was set. Bodden's attorney had no comment, saying he just got the case.
