ABC Soap Stars Visit Pass Christian

Hundreds of die hard fans took full advantage of there opportunity to mix and mingle with the stars.

Michelle Poole of Vancleve is a dedicated fan of General Hospital. Her favorite Character is Nikolas Cassadine played by Tyler Christopher.

"I grew up watching it ever since I was a little girl and I am just hooked on it," says Poole.

"We got an autograph and he signed our shirts too," says soap fan Brittney Tucker.

She drove from Mobile to meet her hunky hero Colin Egglesfield.

"This is a once in a lifetime thing. It's just amazing! He's always in our living room. We record him during the day, and when we get home from school, we pop in the tape and watch him," says Tucker.

Egglesfield says after viewing the disturbing images of the devastation here on the Coast, he felt a great need to help.

"It's the least we can do just seeing the pictures on TV last year. How can you not feel affected by something like that," asks Egglesfield.

Bree Williamson of "One Life to Live" says she would not have missed this opportunity to help rebuild a play ground and lift spirits, for the world.

"I have done a couple of 'Fun in the Sun' events, and this one is definitely the one. It took a lot for us to get here. Planes canceled, delays, but there was no way that I wasn't coming," says Williamson.

Their time and efforts have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated.

"We need a lot of help down here and it just means a lot for celebrities to come and offer their time and their names to keep us in the spot light," says Poole.

One Life to Live cast members produced a musical CD titled "One Life Many Voices".

The CD features original tracks from 25 cast members and a picture booklet.

All proceeds from the CD will go to disaster relief here in South Mississippi.
