Students in Moss Point tried out the school system's new video conference room, to learn about the dangers of smoking. Students at West Elementary talked with more than a hundred students and teachers from around the state through the Internet.
A moderator in Jackson focused the talk around the unhealthy effects of smoking and how the drug Nicotine is proven to be addictive. During the online session, students planted seeds to represent growing up strong and healthy without the use of drugs. This is the first time students have used the new conference room.
