IT'S AN ANNUAL VISIT

National Guard Comes To Long Beach

For a few minutes this morning, an Army National Guard helicopter hovered over Long Beach High School. But there was nothing to worry about. The chopper had six Long Beach students on board. Each one of the 17 year old teens were enlisted members of the National Guard.

And they all said they were ready to fight the Taliban to protect America. National Guard recruiters visit Long Beach High School once a year. They show off their equipment and talk with students about careers in the National Guard.
