I-10 A Mess After Accident

A truck carrying frozen fast food burst into flames this morning on Interstate 10. The 6:40 a.m. accident caused a massive traffic jam, from the Woolmarket exit all the way back to Lorraine Road.

For much of the day, two towing companies were at the Woolmarket overpass. Because of the extensive damage to the 18 wheeler, it took them time to figure out how to move the charred and mangled truck off the highway.

It took eight hours to clean up the accident, and reopen I-10's eastbound lanes.
