Donated Printers Help The Helpers

Those groups dedicated to helping those in need got a little help themselves on Wednesday. The Catholic Diocese of Biloxi started distributing 700 printers donated by Dell to area charities and non-profit organizations.

The recipients included the American Legions Post 77 in Waveland, Mercy Housing and Life of South Mississippi. Life of South Mississippi helps the disabled lead more independently. They're grateful for the gift.

"The generosity that our organization has received from , all over the world has been awe inspiring," said Angel Sharp. "This late in the game to still be able to say that there are people are out there that are still willing to help, it's just great."

The Biloxi Diocese says 501-C non-profit agencies and title one schools are eligible for the free printers. For application information contact Yolanda Edwards at yedwards@biloxidiocese@.org
