Parking Problems At The Airport

Mississippi Congressman Roger Wicker is asking the F.A.A. to rethink a 300 foot ban it imposed on airports after the terrorist attacks on September 11th. He's asking the FAA to reduce that ban at smaller airports.

Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport would not qualify for the reduction, so airport officials there are trying to find a way to replace 200 spaces they lost in both short and long term parking lots. They estimate the cost at more than a million dollars, money they say they don't have right now.
