New Look For U.S.M.

The University of Southern Mississippi unveiled today a new lecture hall at its newly renovated Walker Science Building. The 200-seat auditorium was funded with a 10-year, 400-thousand dollar trust fund established by Betty Reuben of Hattiesburg.

The Marvin and Betty Reuben Science Lecture Hall, which is named after Reuben and her late husband, long-time W-D-AM-T-V general manager Marvin Reuben, features a revolving stage, then hosted a special physics presentation.

The auditorium, the first at U-S-M dedicated to the sciences, is one of two built as part of a five million dollar renovation of Walker Science Building.
