More Airport Security On The Way

It appears Governor Ronnie Musgrove will send some Mississippi National Guard troops to the states airports. President Bush earlier today advised governors around the country to use the National Guard, to help boost security at the nations airports.

In a statement released this afternoon, Governor Musgrove said he supports the presidents proposal. The executive director of the Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport, Bruce Frallic, says he would welcome the troops. The deployment of the National Guard Troops at the nations airports is expected to last four to six months.
