Plans Finalized For Jessie Lee Williams Vigil

Lawyers for the family of Jessie Lee Williams are finalizing plans for a candlelight vigil to mark 100 days since Williams was beaten to death in the Harrison County Jail.

Attorney Michael Crosby says they abandoned the idea of holding the vigil at the jail after the Sheriff's Department made, what Crosby called "unfair demands." Crosby now has permission to hold the vigil at the Harrison County Courthouse on May 15th at 6pm.

Williams was beaten in the jail's booking room on February 4th. A federal investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death continues.
