Businesses Outside Keesler Hurting

Some of the businesses outside Keesler Gate Seven are feeling the impact of the tighter security that's been in place since the terrorist attacks two weeks ago.

Immediately following the attacks, Keesler implemented its highest security, and ordered its students to stay on the base. That's hurting the businesses right outside the Pass Road gate that depend heavily on military sales. Those businesses include everything from pizza deliveries, tatoo shops and video stores.

Business owners say there isn't much they can do but wait until Keesler eases up on the security. A Keesler spokesperson tells us the tight restrictions are in place indefinitely.
