Mississippi Sea Wolves Head Coach Bob Woods inked right wing Travis Lisabeth on Monday. The 21-year-old played for the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League last season. In 62 games, Lisabeth netted 22 goals and 25 assists for 47 points, along with 69 penalty minutes.
The 6'0, 195 pound Lisabeth is excited about his opportunity to play on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He said, "I've heard Biloxi is a great place to play. Everyone that I've met has been friendly. I'm looking forward to it. I'll work hard and hopefully things will pay off for me."
Coach Woods sought Lisabeth after reviewing his scouting report. Woods said, "He has a great work ethic and he'll comet play every night. I expect he will do a lot of the little things well, similar to Dustin Whitecotton last year."
