Back Behind Bars

The second Perry County fugitive, is back behind bars tonight. Deputies captured 33-year old Christopher "Scottie" Thomas this morning, outside a Wal-Mart store in Meridian.

Thomas was waiting to be tried on murder charges, in the death of his uncle. Thomas, and his cellmate Kenneth Moody, escaped from the Perry County Jail September 15th.

Moody was captured three days later. He was waiting to stand trial for the 1995 stabbing death of a Mobile man, and was already serving a life sentence, for the murders of a Hattiesburg couple.
