Moss Point Murder Suspects Turn Themselves In

The two men suspected in a double murder are now behind bars at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center. Moss Point Police say Laderrick Brown, 19, and Terrance Coleman, 20, turned themselves in early Tuesday morning.

Brown and Coleman are each charged with two counts of capital murder. Judge Maxine Conway revoked bond for both men.

Police say the pair robbed, and then killed Gary Riley, 26, and Brandon Taylor, 24, Friday night.

Moss Point Police Chief Demetrius Drakeford says he's not surprised the two turned themselves in. He says after being put on a nationwide police registry, there aren't many places they could hide.

Anyone having any information regarding this incident is asked to call the Moss Point Police Department at 475-1711 or the Moss Point Police TIPS line at 474-TIPS (8477).
