Police Investigating Double Murder In Gulfport

Gulfport Police say they still have no suspects or motives in a fatal double shooting Wednesday afternoon.

When officers arrived at 8369 South Carolina Avenue around 2 p.m., they found 27-year old Sammy Williams of Biloxi and 37-year old Timothy Magee shot to death. Magee lived at the address.

A friend of Magee's said she has no idea why someone would want to hurt Magee.

"He hasn't done anything. He was a good person. No, he don't bother nobody, he doesn't even carry a gun," Carolyn Paymon said.

Police say both men were shot at least once and were pronounced dead on the scene. Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove says autopsies will be performed Thursday.
