Relief Center Open In D'Iberville

The E.H. Potter Resurrection Center has opened in D'Iberville to help storm victims regardless of religious denomination. The center is set up at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.

The church is partnering with ministries in Louisiana, New Jersey and the National Baptist Convention of America to provide numerous services. Things like social and mental health services, youth support and legal counseling. The assistance to the public is absolutely free.

"That gives us a relationship here with Tabernacle of D'Iberville and the Biloxi area. So our president wanted to seek ways that we could work together to help each other and forget about state boundary lines and all and just find out what people are hurting and help them," Rev. Samuel Tolbert said.

The E.H. Potter Resurrection Center at the Tabernacle church will be open from ten to six Monday through Friday.
