Man Found Guilty In 1998 Murder

A Jackson County jury convicted Terry Stewart of capital murder late Thursday.

Stewart faces the death penalty for killing Ralph Bourg of Louisiana in 1998. Stewart stabbed Bourg to death at the Point in Pascagoula.

Stewart never took the stand in the trial, but his attorney argued Stewart stabbed Bourg in self defense. Stewart will be sentenced on Friday.

Another man,Simeon Dykes, 26, pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges in this case last year.
