IP Casino Helps Fund Habitat Homes In Biloxi

Habitat for Humanity in Biloxi received a boost Friday from a local casino.

Imperial Palace presented Mayor A.J. Holloway with a check for $200,000. The money will go toward building Habitat for Humanity homes in Biloxi.

General Manager Jon Lucas says his casino is dedicated to helping build the coast back.

"We are here in Biloxi and we were part of the devastation and we want to be part of the rebuilding process," Lucas said.

Lucas said that this is just one of the ways the casino is helping South Mississippi recover from Hurricane Katrina.
