Beauty On The Way To Biloxi

If you travel Highway 90 through East Biloxi, you've probably noticed black plastic fencing in the medians, along with piles of dirt and some discolored grass. It's all part of a beautification project that involves Harrison County, The City of Biloxi, and the Biloxi Bay Chamber of Commerce.

The Highway 90 medians between Point Cadet and Rodenberg Avenue are about to be transformed. Soon those medians will be filled with a variety of colorful flowers and evergreen plants. The project also involves a large space at the East entrance to Biloxi. That spot will soon contain a garden and a special sculptural sign, welcoming folks to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  The project will be funded with 300,000 dollars in county money.
