Vancleave Company To Remove Harrison County's Razor Wire

A Vancleave company will remove the razor wire that runs along the railroad from Pass Christian to Gulfport.

Monday, the Harrison County Supervisors awarded a contract to "BEB Enterprises." The project will cost $250,000 and the money will be reimbursed by FEMA.

The razor wire was installed a few days after the hurricane to keep people out of devastated areas south of the tracks.

The removal will start as soon as the contracts are put together. The company must also consult with CSX since the wire is so close to the tracks. The contract is for 60 days.
