Two Jackson County were arrested Tuesday on drug-related charges.
As part of a joint investigation by the FBI, the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, and the Narcotics Task Force of Jackson County officers arrested Alejandro Hernandez, 28, and Nestor Campos, 45, both of Pascagoula. They are charged with conspiracy and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine.
The arrests are the result of a year-long investigation into a drug trafficking ring in Jackson County. The men are being held in the Harrison County Jail. If convicted, they could each face sentences of 40 years in prison and up to one million dollars in fines.
