Funeral Arrangements Set For Six Students

Funeral arrangements have been made for the young people killed in Thursday's accident.

Sisters, Carley Jordan, 20, and Brittany Jordan, 18, will be laid to rest Saturday, January 14th. Visitation will be that morning from 10 am until 2 pm with a 2pm mass at St Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.

Arrangements are being made through the Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. A fund has been set up at BanCorp South in the girls names to help cover funeral expenses.

Joshua Bozeman, 21, will also be buried Saturday. Visitation will be from 9:30am until 11:30am at Nativity BVM Catholic Church in Biloxi. The funeral mass will begin at 11:30am.

Cousins, Candice Newman and William "Jarrod" Thompson, both 20, will be laid to rest together on Monday, January 16th. Visitation will be from noon until 2pm at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi. The funeral mass will begin at 2pm. Burial will follow at D'Iberville Memorial Park on Gorenflo Road.

Visitation for Richard O'Barr, 20, will also take place Monday, January 16th from 6pm until 8pm at Bradford O'Keefe on Pass Road in Biloxi and again on Tuesday, January 17th from 9am-10am. The funeral mass will be Tuesday at 10 am at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Biloxi.

    Bay St. Louis police chief Gary Ponthieux says that at some point Monday, he hopes to release new information about a shooting on Sycamore Street. So far, the chief has shared preliminary information. At just before 3:00 p.m. Sunday, officers were called about a shooting in the area of Sycamore Street and St. Francis Street. When the officers arrived, Ponthieux reports they found two gunshot victims in a wrecked car. They also found a third injured person in the area.
