The Highway Patrol is investigating how a handcuffed Jackson County man was able to steal a State Trooper's car.
44 year old Randy Wilson stole the trooper's car Monday while waiting to be booked on public drunkenness charges at the sheriff's department.
Wilson drove the trooper's car several blocks to Grant street in Pascagoula before ramming it into an unmarked Pascagoula police car.
After the collision, Wilson ran off, but police captured him a short time later. No one was hurt but the Highway Patrol car and the police care were damaged.
The Highway Patrol is still investigating how the incident occurred. Wilson now faces more charges.
