Three Teens Arrested For Kidnapping Pizza Delivery Driver

What would have been a routine pizza delivery for one driver turned into a violent abduction Monday night, that according to police.

Three Gulfport teens are in jail on $1 million bond, charged with aggravated assault, kidnapping, motor vehicle theft and simple robbery.

Demaro Robertson, 13, Joshua Hayes, 15, and Robert Smith, Junior, 17, allegedly robbed and assaulted the pizza delivery driver Monday night on 18th Avenue in Gulfport. Police say the three locked the driver in the trunk of his own car and drove away with him still inside.

The deliveryman was able to call 911 and officers say they found him in the abandoned car about 20 minutes later.

Tuesday night he was still in the hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
