Alabama Woman Killed In Accident In Jackson County

An Alabama woman was killed Saturday morning in an auto accident in Jackson County.

The accident happened in the Wade community at the intersection of Hwy. 63 and 614 around 10:30 a.m. Investigators with the highway patrol say they are continuing their investigation into what caused the accident and say two vehicles were involved.

Jackson County Coroner Vicki Broadus says the victim, Michele Williams, 31, of Mobile County, Ala., died at the scene of the accident.

Another person was critically injured and taken to Singing River hospital. That person's name has not been released.
