Air Show Plans Lose Altitude

Officials at Stennis International Airport in Hancock County are hoping the third time around will be the charm for bringing in a major air show. The event was supposed to include aerial performances by the U.S Air Force Thunderbirds and draw thousands of people to Hancock County.

It was first proposed two years ago, then rescheduled for Labor Day weekend this year. Airport leaders say Sky Parade, the people who put on the air show, backed out of its contractual obligation with Stennis. Airport leaders say they hope to put on a spectacular show next year.
