The state Transportation Department revised its plans for the new Biloxi-Ocean Springs Bridge, and the Mayor of Ocean Springs says she likes the changes.
On Wednesday, Mayor Connie Moran raised concerns about the original drawings because the bridge would come down just east of the railroad overpass, cutting off access to nearby residents.
MDOT's latest plans show the bridge ending at the same place as the old bridge. The access points will also stay the same.
Moran says only a few trees will have to be relocated and the concrete will have artistic designs so they'll look more pleasing.
