NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) -
On the same day that the Pelicans lose a former Kentucky player, they bring in another.
A source confirms to FOX 8 Sports that the Pelicans agreed to a contract, Monday, with former Los Angeles Laker forward Julius Randle. The move comes not long after reports surfaced that former Pelican guard Rajon Rondo agreed to a deal with Randle's former team.
Randle comes to New Orleans after spending the first four years of his career with Los Angeles.
Last season, he averaged 16.1 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game.
