Before you head out for some deep sea fishing, you may need to find out about the new fishing regulations.
The Department of Marine Resources is giving out free copies of this year's saltwater fishing regulation handbook at its headquarters in Biloxi. Several rules have changed since last year, DMR officials say, but the main change is that people who crab trap must now have licenses.
The handbooks are available for free at the DMS office at 1141 Bayview Ave., Suite 1, in Biloxi. They will also be available at this year's Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo . If you want to contact the DMR, you can call the office at (228) 374-5000.
