Biloxi Man Killed In Early Morning Auto Accident

A Biloxi man was killed early Saturday morning when his pickup truck collided with a telephone pole on Howard Avenue in Biloxi.

Biloxi police say the accident happened around 1 a.m. on Howard Avenue near the VFW. Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove says 43-year-old Glenn Seymour died at the scene of the accident from massive injuries to his head and chest. A passenger in the truck was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Hargrove says Seymour was speeding on Howard Avenue when he lost control at a curve and struck the telephone pole. He says the truck then went into someone's yard where it hit an unoccupied car.

Toxicology results are pending on the victim.
