Officials have released the name of the man they say was murdered late Saturday afternoon in Gulfport.
Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove says Robert T. Hinton, 67, was found dead at his home at 3104 B Ave. off of Pass Road in Gulfport around 6:30 p.m. Saturday. An autopsy performed Sunday showed the man died of blunt injuries to the head.
Gulfport police arrested Keith David Ward, 48, who lived at the same residence, on Saturday and charged him with murder. He was taken to Harrison County Jail and held on $500,000 bond.
Police still don't know what led to the incident, but they are continuing with their investigation.
