Biloxi Man In Critical Condition After Shooting

Biloxi police say two men were trying to break up a fight in the parking lot of South Beach nightclub on Highway 90 around 5 a.m. Saturday when the shooting happened. Investigators say one of the men involved in the fight pulled out a gun and started firing.

One man was hit several times. He underwent surgery Saturday morning at Biloxi Regional Medical Center and remained in critical condition Saturday. A second man was hit in the hand by a bullet.  Their names have not been released, but the owner of South Beach said the men were brothers and are frequent customers at the nightclub.

Biloxi police have arrested three men and charged them with aggravated assault. Ly Thuong Nguyen, 22, of Biloxi, Xan Van Tran, 18, of Biloxi, and Phong Phuc Hoang, 18, of D'Iberville were all taken to the Harrison County Jail and are being held on a $200,000 bond.
