All Crews Inside

Our news crews are not allowed to go out on the streets right now for safety's sake. Reporter Steve Phillips is doing what he can from right outside our back door. But even that's stopped for now.

The wind is blowing so hard right now we're keeping all the doors closed and everyone inside. Steve just noticed some water coming in under our back door.

Now we'll just have to wait until the eye reaches us. It passed over Grand Isle about an hour ago.

Reporter Brad Kessie is sitting in as our Executive Producer at the moment. He just turned to me and said, "This is the worst part, just sitting here, waiting."

That's pretty much the mentality of reporters in general. They want to be out, witnessing what's happening. But no one will be allowed out for a while.
