NEW YORK, NY (WBRC) -

UPDATE: An Alabama woman has come forward and accused U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore of sexually assaulting her. The new accuser, Beverly Young Nelson says she had interactions with Moore when she was 16 years old.

ORIGINAL: Attorney Gloria Allred is scheduled to hold a press conference with a woman accusing embattled GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore of sexual assault.

The press conference will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13 in New York.

According to a press release from Allred's office, the woman says Moore sexually assaulted her when she was a minor.

The new accusation follows a report from The Washington Post that alleges that Moore engaged in sexual misconduct with a woman when she was 14-years-old in the late 70s.

Moore has denied the allegations and told a crowd at a Huntsville campaign stop that he plans to sue the publication.
