Man living in the country illegally faces prison for gun charges

BAY ST. LOUIS, MS (WLOX) - An undocumented man living in Bay St. Louis is facing prison and a hefty fine after pleading guilty on July 26.

Rodrigo Hernandez-Garcia, 32, will be sentenced on Oct. 24, for possession of a firearm by a person living in the country illegally.

In addition to deportation as a convicted felon, Hernandez-Garcia also faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations, and prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Annette Williams.
