BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

The Mississippi Tennis Association looking to get more area youth to the courts, organizing three different six-week tennis clinics along the Coast this Fall, aiming to increase the sport's popularity in the area, especially with certain population demographics.

The Coast Outreach Program takes place in Biloxi, Ocean Springs and Pascagoula with each location hosting one-hour clinics each week for six weeks. Registration requires a $40 fee per person, with a maximum number of 24 participants for each clinic.

The first several sessions of each clinic will focus on learning tennis basics; the last two sessions will include supervised doubles match play. The $40 per person registration fee will assist in paying instructors' fees. Rackets will be available for those who need them.

For more information on how to sign up, please contact Grace Aaron, MTA Coast Community Coordinator at 228-861-2994 or graceinbiloxi@aol.com as advance registration is required and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Online registration is also available by going to http://jrprograms.mstennis.com and clicking "Upcoming Events" then clicking on "Ready to Rally" identified with your preferred clinic site.
