STONE COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - The trial for two people accused of a murder for hire plot in Stone County has been pushed back to September.
Evelyn Garrison and her childhood friend, Emmett Entrekin, are accused of hiring another man to kill Evelyn's husband in January 2015.
Timmy Garrison, 57, was beaten and stabbed at his sawmill equipment business.
Evelyn and Entrekin are accused of paying Jody Parks 15,000 to kill Timmy. Parks pleaded guilty in March and is serving a life sentence.
The district attorney's office says Evelyn's and Entrekins' attorneys asked for the delay.
