If you love Elvis music you don't want to miss a new show at Center Stage in Biloxi.
"All Shook Up" is a fun filled love story, built around songs made famous by Elvis Presley. Everything from "Hound Dog" and "Jailhouse Rock", to the beautiful "I Can't Help Falling In Love With You."
But while the music is all Elvis, it's not a biographical review. Joel Herr plays the lead role of Chad, who shakes everything up when he arrives on the scene, somewhere in middle America in 1955.
Herr said, "He's definitely not Elvis, but he's Elvis-like. His name is Chad and he's a roustabout who rides into town. It's a conservative town and he's definitely not a conservative guy."
The mysterious stranger in town manages to catch the eye of Natalie, played by Jacqueline Coale.
"Natalie is a small town girl. She's a mechanic at her father's garage, but at the heart of it she's a dreamer. She would really love to get out of town and she would love to meet the man of her dreams," said Coale.
In the meantime, Chad has his eye on Sandra, played by Hadley Hill.
"Sandra is the museum curator the love interest for multiple characters," said Hill.
There are a lot of twists and turns, and somewhere along the way the whole town discovers the magic of romance and the power of rock and roll. "All Shook Up" will run at Center Stage in Biloxi through July 30.
