BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

The name may have changed, but the goal remains the same. Bring people into downtown Biloxi for fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as a good time.

The farmers market is now known as the community market, but it's in the same location under the I-110 bridge.

Once a month, a festival atmosphere is unveiled at the community market. That includes live music, games, and contests.

If you're looking for the freshest home-grown fruits, vegetables, and plants, this is the place to be.

City officials say they plan on giving the community market a larger presence facing Howard Ave. in the future. That means more people driving along that busy thoroughfare will see the market and hopefully stop by.
