BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Biloxi Mayor Andrew “Fofo” Gilich unveiled the winner of the 36th annual Biloxi Seafood Festival poster contest Wednesday morning. The winner is Gulfport native Banjamin Rusher, owner of Integrity Tattoo Company.

Rusher began working as an artist in 2008. He said past posters inspired him to make this year's piece.

“I was inspired by the Gulf Coast and by the Seafood Festival posters of yesteryear,” said Rusher. “The old ones are my favorites and I hope I did them justice.”

You can purchase posters at the Biloxi Visitor's Center for $50 for signed prints and $25 for unsigned prints.

This year's seafood festival will take place Sept. 9-10 at Biloxi's town green.
