GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

WLOX News Now has obtained video showing what a witness describes as the moments right after a shooting at a Gulfport apartment complex Monday afternoon. It happened around 1pm at Creekwood North Apartments on Oneal Road.

RAW VIDEO: Gulfport shooting aftermath (explicit)

The video shows a shirtless man running near the back of a car as it speeds away. After the car leaves the parking lot, the man strolls back toward the apartment building. Someone shouts out, asking if he was shot, and suggesting he call the police. Another voice is heard saying, "Don't call the police."

It's unclear who is talking, if the subject of the video is the man who was shot, or if the people inside the car are actually wanted by police.

The witness who took the video did not want to be identified, but said the video has been turned over to police. Officials won't say anything about the video, and aren't releasing any details on their investigation.

The shooting victim was taken to Garden Park Medical Center.
