1 arrested following early morning burglary

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

A St. Martin man is behind bars after police say he broke into car early Sunday morning. 

Police responded to a parking lot in the 800 block of Bayview Ave. around 4 a.m. after Dustin Eugene Raymond was seen on surveillance video stealing from an unlocked vehicle.

The suspect was found near the area, still in possession of the stolen item. He was arrested and charged with burglary of an automobile.

Raymond was taken to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center and given a $25,000 bond. 

Anyone with information that can assist police with their investigation is asked to contact the Biloxi Police Department at 228-435-6112.
