BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - For one night only, the Biloxi Shuckers have a new teammate.
They added the Mississippi Center for Autism and Related Developmental Disabilities to their roster for a Sunday night at MGM Park that shines a light on autism.
The team will dress out in custom autism awareness-themed jerseys. The jerseys will be auctioned off, with proceeds going to autism awareness. Jersey winners will also have the chance to go on field and meet the player after the game, take a photo, and receive an autograph.
The Shuckers play game number four of a five game series against Birmingham Sunday evening. First pitch is at 5:05 p.m., and gates open at 4 p.m.
