"Ghost" of Tropical Depression 4 keeps rain chances high

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) -

After hit and miss storms across south Mississippi over the past few days, more storms are possible over the weekend thanks to what was once Tropical Depression 4 (TD 4). No need to worry, we are not expecting the "ghost" of TD 4 to resurrect itself and redevelop into anything organized such as a tropical storm.

However, as the remnants approach south Mississippi rain chances will stay high Friday through Monday. Each day is not expected to be a washout; but, a few locations may pick up anywhere from 1-3 inches over that period.  Due to the unstable air mass that will be in place, waterspouts will be a concern over the sound and offshore throughout the weekend.
