BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - There seems to be a budding dynasty over at the AJ Holloway Sportsplex.
For the fourth-straight year, the self-proclaimed "Boys from B-Town" brought home the Mississippi State Championship, and now the Biloxi 12U Youth Baseball team prepares to head to Oklahoma for the Cal Ripken Baseball Regionals.
From age 9 and up, these boys have won each of the last four Mississippi State Championships, and they know they're a part of something special."
"It's been a great experience for the kids," head coach Ronnie Seymour said. "Every year, the challenge has gotten harder for them to do it, to repeat. The bulleye's on their back has been bigger every year, and they've made it happen every year."
"It's been exciting and pretty cool," second baseman Garner Seymour said. "We all know each other and, I mean, it's just been incredible."
"It's been awesome every year being able to go to (this) place with each other," first baseman Bryson Pisarich said. "Always being with each other and always playing with the same people is always fun."
Now, the program never placed higher than second in Regionals. If they win and advance to the Cal Ripken World Series in Branson, MO?
"We know if we win Regionals, then we're going deep-sea fishing, and when we go deep-sea fishing? Oh yeah," third baseman Duran Parish said excitedly. "I thought we were going diving at first, but I got told that we weren't. But, still fun."
